Puddles

 Hi there

Well Peppa Pig has a lot to answer for around here, Ivy loves splashing in muddy puddles and I thought these papers were just perfect for this layout.

I used papers from the Sunshine and Sprinkles paper pack which is currently available in the Clearance Rack do pop over and see what other bargains are available!

I added a few bits of washi tape for extra detail, I do LOVE washi tape, the tapes I used came from the Epic Day pack and Gingham Garden pack.

New Catalogue Sneak Peek #6

Hello again,
I have a couple of simple cards to share today.

I have used the new 'Label Love' stamp set and coordinating punch teaming it up with the two beautiful butterfly punches, 'bitty butterfly' and 'elegant butterfly'.

The papers I used are from 'Polka Dot Parade' and are some of my favourites.

New Catalogue Sneak Peek #5

Hi there,
Something a bit different today.

I have made two cards in the same design but different colours.

First up using Strawberry Slush cardstock.

And second using Costal Cabana cardstock

For both cards I used patterned paper from 'Quartrefancy Speciality' paper pack.  I stamped the design from 'Mosaic Madness' stamp set and punched out using the coordinating 'Mosaic' punch.

I can not take credit for the design of the card I saw it on pintrest and really liked it, the tutorial is here if you wish to have a go at making one.

New Catalogue Sneak Peeks #4

Hi there, back again with more to share today

I have two cards to show using the same products, one with a masculine feel and one more feminine.

I have used Baked Brown Sugar cardstock for the bases and patterned paper from 'Soho Subway' paper pack.  The sentiments for both cards are from the 'Label Love' stamp set, using the coordinating punch and are stamped in Pistachio Pudding ink.

To embellish the cards I have used This and That washi tape and handmade clay buttons and flowers.  These were made using a great new product 'Simply Pressed Clay' and 'Buttons & Blossoms Simply Pressed Clay Molds'.  I experimented with the clay colouring it before use with Pistachio Pudding ink from a reinker when I made the blossoms and colouring after dry for the buttons.  Both ways seems to give a good effect but I will be experimenting more.

The clay is airdry and very light so great for cards.  It is great to be able to make this type of embellishment in any colour needed for a project, I just need a bit of practise so my buttons end up round like buttons should be ;)
